How can I get more emails?
If you take the initiative and email another member first, they may in return email you back. Also profiles with visible photos loaded, receive many more views, and therefore response.

Can I have multiple accounts/profiles?
No.

Why do I get logged out of chat?
Chat sessions can "time-out" – if this happens; try logging out of the chat session, out of site and re-logging back in.

Is there anything else I should know about chat?
There is a whisper mode - if you select a particular person in the chat room only they will see your chat. You can also adjust your text colour and set to bold text.

How do I locate a Moderator?
A moderator can be recognised by a blue capital M situated alongside their login name and can be found by running a search with the user name search criteria "mod".

Where do I voice my concerns relating to the site or the site's terms of use?
We suggest you make contact with a Moderator, as they are never really that far away. The Moderator can then either answer/help you with your concerns or forward them on to AllWorldChat Management.

Can I complain about a thread?
Yes – to a Moderator, who may in turn voice your concerns to AllWorldChat Management.

Blocking - I'm having problems with another member annoying me in email – what can I do?
You can go into the "My Account" link situated to the top left of your page. You are supplied with a blocking feature, which is situated to the left of this page - "Blocking Options". The simple steps to take are clearly in place for you to follow. This feature will enable you to effectively prohibit the member you are concerned with from emailing you further and will prohibit them from posting any comments in any threads you may be author of on the Messageboards.

How do I find the messageboards?
There is a "Messageboards" link at the top of each page – This will take you to the "All boards" page, from where you can click on recent threads or click on the individual boards from the left menu, or search the message boards with the message board search.

I've never posted to messageboards before – what do I do?
Just join in with the other members. You will in general find those that partake in the messageboard fun, very welcoming and friendly. Please read the message board guidelines (found in each message board) about the individual board rules before posting or starting a thread.

How do I post emoticons into my profile or caption?
Just manually type in the emoticon codes into your profile or caption (caption changes are made from the My Account page). Refer to the list of emoticon codes.

What is "My Favourites"?
You can add members to your "My Favourites" list by clicking on the "My Favourites" icon in a search result or the "Add to Favourites" link at the top of profiles. If you wish to remove a member from your favourites list just click the icon again.

What is "My Favourite Threads" in the messageboard area?
"My Favourite Threads" keeps track of the threads you posted to, or have chosen as favourites, and shows the latest poster. You can also add favourite threads to your favourite thread list without posting to them and delete threads from your favourite list.

Do you have to be a great speller?
No – You have access to a spell checker for message board posts and emails.

What is "advanced search" for?
With advanced search you can set more parameters to your search, such as particular profile options, or only return profiles with photos, or sort the return order by latest joiners or last online, or paid members first.

Why can I not use a particular username even though there is no such member on the site?
There may have been at one time and so his or her username availability died with their account.

Can I change my login username?
Yes you can. Just go to the "My Account" page and change your username and then re-enter your password and confirm before clicking update.

Can I change my password?
Yes you can. Just go to the "My Account" page and change your password and confirm the new password before clicking update.

How do I see my profile and messageboard statistics?
Just go to the "My Account" page and click on the "My Stats" link. (Tip – to improve your statistic hits, start posting on the messageboards and display a photo on your profile).

Can I set My Account to enable viewing of open threads in the "all messageboards" page?
Yes - From the "My Account" page, tick the check box as desired before typing your password and password confirmation and clicking "Update".

How do I change my profile text?
Just go to the "My Profile" page from the top menu and adjust as desired before clicking on "Update Profile" which will take you to the next profile page (there are 3). Your profile caption and location settings can also be changed from the "My Account" page, linked to from the top menu.

How do I load photos?
Just go to the "My Photos" page linked to from the top menu and click browse to select an image from your hard drive for uploading. Select only JPG type images (photos in a different format can be converted to JPG). Before clicking "Upload" give the photo a label (the label you give may be displayed in your profile and will identify your photo to you when attaching within AllWorldChat). If you wish the photo to be private and hidden from your profile, click the appropriate check boxes before clicking "Upload". Once uploaded, photos can be easily selected to be primary or hidden images by toggling the appropriate icons next to the images in your "My Photo" page. To set the private image password just enter the password and click on "Set".

Why when I go to post a message it wont go through?
Rarely this will happen, but if it does, select and copy your post, click on any other link, then go back to the thread or email in question and attempt to paste and re-submit.

I have forgotten my password?
You can contact us using the "Forgotten Password" link on the homepage and we will automatically send it to the email you supplied when you joined.

Can I pay for someone else's blue star membership?
Yes - The easiest way to do this is to top up your own account (by credit card payment) by the amount you wish to pay, and then use the membership gifting page accessed from the "My Account" page, to gift the membership wanted to any other member.

Is there an easy way I can tell others about AllWorldChat?
Yes there is – There is a "Tell a friend" form that can easily be sent, which can be accessed from the "My Account" page.

Is there an easy way I can give AllWorldChat Management my feedback about the site?
